Christmas time events

Since this thread is called Christmas events I'm posting this here.

I was wondering, which are the differences in celebrating christmas in our countries? For example, on mostly all South America we have a christmas tree (not an original one but an artificial one because we don't have pines due to the weather) and a nativity scene.

The 24th night we also eat turkey (I think like people on the US on your Thanks giving day) and Panettone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panettone), an italian cake, which is delicious.

So, do you do this things in your country? What else do you do?

USA have Turkey or Ham.
My sister and I fix stuffing, yams and green beans.
I tried rememeber what my Anut Mita fix one chirtmas.She from Venezuela.I can't. :oops: :oops: :oops:
