MEATless diet?
No way, I say!
Where in blazes is MEAT'S Redeemer Screamer?
For two days, it's not in the list of UT or Deathmatch servers!
I keep hitting F5 in utter disbelief!

It just froze up on me big time...then it took a nose dive from there.
My computer nerd friend wouldn't stop laughing at me when
he saw my PC. The best part of my computer was my $100
video card...and now that is obsolete.
So I'm now in the market for a new computer.
Maybe I'll look into it this weekend.
As for MRS...maybe it's time to put it to rest.
Although I think I still have it on my wifes PC.
Maybe I'll run it from there?

Nibble nible but still no bite from me. That video card you have may be old but it is still way more powerful than most out there. The problem is I don't think you can buy a PC these days that offer a AGP slot which is what your card would plug into. If you get the new PC, sell that card on ebay for about $60 and somebody will jump on it.
I just handed over a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro to a friend to use. He says it plays UT2004 with almost everything turned up to full very well.

Re: MEATless diet?
I have my server up and running on my wives PC.
It should be up...
As for a new computer I'm not looking for anything
to fancy...just hope I can run my server from a newer
PC?
Should that be an issue?

Meat if you need a temp server, let me know. I'll host for you as an interim thing. We live fairly close so ping shouldn't be different for anyone. I'm not interested in taking over but I just bought a laptop and now I have a really good dual core last-year PC with a 7900 card as a backup computer that won't be used.

But hopefully I'll have a new PC in hand in about 2 hours.
The problem is my wife thinks she should get something to.
It's amazing how money just grows on the trees out here
on the West Coast....

Yeah but only on the evergreen trees (get it
)
I do have a complete extra box now tho. Maybe I'll load up a full time server on it.

I've thrown up a temp server for the night here:
68.186.7.125:7777
gopostal's PLAYHOUSE {Portal gun}
I know it's monsterhunt, but I'm more curious as to what playing ping is for people and whether it's a do-able thing. If you float by give it a connect and tell me your ping.
