Yeah, you don't seem like the kind of Klown that laughs that much. Yeah, BTW, there is still no protection for the weak on CG. It's either do or die at CG. I'm not all soft and stuff like some other Redeemer Mod servers I know. Hehehe.

*Drags thread back on topic*

Here's another terrible map: DM-Space Vertigo. This map making exercise is just plain boring.
I don't mind a map that takes a long time to finish, but it should at least be visually interesting. -And if it must have completely separate areas accessible to one another only via teleporter, then it is not suitable for redeemer arena imho.
I'm a man........but I can change........if I have to........I guess

Who's server is that on? Is it on mine? You know I listen to you Nameless when you give your opinion. I think only about 15% of the time I disagree with you. Talk to us mannnnn.

- MH-Monster-Planet_FIX has crashed the server right after we voted for it.

- It seems like I can't find:

MH-DKDCrater{fix}
MH-DKDasaCellars{fix}
MH-Dark-Laws{fix}
MH-d5{fix}

in the map-vote window.

OK, I figured it out. They crashed because I don't have all of the files for each of thos maps listed. I also can't find those maps so until somebody sends me the additional files for those maps they will crash and automatically be removed from the cycle. Please find the files that are required and send them. I don't have the time right now to do it myself. Sorry.

Herm I apologize if I wasn't totally clear on the map download. I only posted the unr file. You can get the individual map packages at the PMH downloads. Once this thing is done I'll package all the maps as well as all associated files into a single download but for now it saves a tremendous amount of space by only trading around the unr file.

You were clear but PMH actually doesn't have those map packs. Look for yourself. He had the ones that I got to work and the ones that are still broke are the ones I don't have the full package for. We're cool.

In that case I'll package the whole thing. Probably a good idea anyway even if it does increase the sizes. I'll try to get it done next day or so.

Another bad map: MH-Hebereke_Gaiden_V2

Reason: an endless stream of warlords, gasbags and behemoths spawning in the final hall. The map it's almost impossible to complete since you must lift-jump into a small hole or guide a redeemer down there in order to open the door that contains the trigger that ends the map. Of course the redeemers are on the top of the lift and you must push a button on a totally different part of the same hall in order to activate the elevator. In the meanwhile you're spammed by those never-ending monsters, and redeemers are wasted against monsters, especially by newbies, so I invite you to grab and guide a redeemer... It could be doable with a limited amount of monsters.

Yeah I hate that map just for that end part. It takes several solid deemer strikes too to finally kill that fish, and that's just impossible without a team. It's just my opinion but I think every MH map should be completable solo, even if it is challenging. This part needs like four minimum.

How many monsters would you consider going through before they stop and allow you to finish? Maybe 15 of each or is that too many?

I seem to be the biggest soloist around here (cos I've got an achievements list :D ) so I'm going to add my experience here:

Nice idea scotty, on a server this busy a map should have a minimum of 1, and not be a walkover with...I dunno. 3? :wink:

Keep some maps for big teams though, because it's nice to have maps like LongCorridor 2006, GodzReturn, and BirdBrainedResearch for when the server get's REALLY busy, I'm talking 5+ people here.

Yes, 15 monsters should be OK.

TBH the map is nice, but the last part ruins the fun... specially if you're playing alone.
