I've spent the last year over at Q3W forums. They taught me alot about computers as relates to gaming. Some really good people there. Without going into whining, a few things there have become tedious. I wanna see how a non-psychotic forum functions. Have I come tuh the right place?
I used to play UnReal (original game) years ago. At the same time I was exposed to UnReal, someone laid Quake2 on me. We played LAN games of Q2 till we were blue in the face. I've been going that direction for years and years. After advancing into Q3A, i pretty much stayed in that rut fer a while. Q4 and Doom3 came along and I was getting bored with the sameness of it all. I got a hold of UT from a friend of mine and kinduh got off in the novelty of the different weapons. The physics were a bit different, as far as the feel of the game went. I dunno. Once I found MH, I found my true gaming call. I SERIOUSLY like the Hunt.
I, most especially, have enjoyed meeting some of the players on the few MH servers I've been diving. Unlike Q3A ctf's, Guys (on your own side) don't frag you to get to the armor.
