There are a few of us such as Hermskii, SilentBob, FuzzBall and some others - old and new players who understand it already.
It's amazing...after 7 years of playing this game...5 of the last I dominated as well as had a popular server
you think I would understand as well as you guys... :|

There are many ways to play redeemer and they are all skilled ways.
Spraying CAN be skilled spraying and guiding CAN be skilled guiding.
They are BOTH used and SHOULD be both used in games and the use should be gaged by the map and the situation of that particular match or bout.
Currently there are 12 different skilled and unskilled techniques that can be used when playing
the Redeemer mod...but I assume you knew that already...?

Actually NOT - I didn't know that.
But, Basically, there is either shoot the missile or ride the missile, is what I am saying.
And, you can do both with or without using skill.
Hopefully WITH skill! :o

All this arguing over which is the better game type and/or who the better player is in all of its various convolutions brings to mind those occasions when I'm out for a ride on my Harley and some jerkwad on his rice rocket or "metric cruiser" pulls up beside me at a red light. Right away I can see either by the look on his face or general attitude that he is of the opinion that I ride a piece of crap because my bike isn't as fast as his, or whatever, and then when the light turns green he accelerates as hard as he can (while I just work my bike through the gears normally,) and thereby in his mind he "blows me into the weeds" as he roars away.

Well, gee, what can you say to that? "Ask me if I care?"? I never say anything, but that is my attitude. They're the ones with something to prove, not me. And prove it to themselves to their own satisfaction they will. Each and every time. And as many times as necessary for their own ego's sake.

Still, you do get to win some form of small victory, even on their own server, every once in a while. -Kind of like the time the jerk on his white crotch rocket blew past me on this scenic highway in New York State. The speed limit was 55 mph. Sure enough, a short while later, there he was in that shady hollow pulled over by the state trooper. Out of respect for them both I slowed down to 35 mph while I left the bike in top gear. As I came up to them I slipped the clutch a bit and accelerated back to 55 mph. This causes the bike to emit a very low exhaust note while at the same time giving off a very satisfying V-twin tone. By the way he turned his head and looked, I knew that that fellow appreciated my friendly action.

Good comparison, Nameless.

Back in th '80s, I had a 4 cylinder Honda and rode 110 mph all over AZ.
Needless to say, my driver's license was suspended at least 5 times.

These suspensions kept me from getting security clearance and kept me from joining the military.

The moral of the story is :

Play all flavors of redeemer and defend your country.

The moral of this story is: even adults possibly married and with children are still arguing for a game. Hey Biomech, can you see any relationships with the MHMers?

Labelling anyone who complains with label of "whiner" is a stupid thing to do....
I still don't know.
