I noticed many players leave during a game if they lose a lil bit too much !!!... This is the human being !... Difficult to win everymap !
The only thing that makes me leaving (at the end of a game) is when I play with my 200 ping (often very much more as it can raise and stay about 350) and there are 2 or 3 good players with pings under 100 : I can't expect anything but turning in the air waiting to respawn.
Some laggy maps are real nightmares for me. So frustrating not to have even a chance to shoot once or twice here and there...

But I still love that game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW folks, Kuyr's new name is "evolution." He's a sore loser and a "cheater"-cryer, but he's definitely been practicing. Keep on him!

Meat, I always try to stay on till the end of the game (unless the baby starts cryin) just to give satisfaction to the other players, but the truth is -- playing a map like Crane or DarkCity with only 3 people is s l o w !!!! A lot of us oldies like the excitement of continuous loud explosions and screaming!

Football or hockey would be a different game if it were one-on-one, but it's really not. Splash damage is your TEAMMATE in redeemers!

I've not been playing much but I did play with evolution the other night and yes he has improved.
Very aggressive player...I like that it kept me on my toes.
And I can see him being a sore loser...never gives up the "gg" after someone else wins.

Continuous loud explosions and screaming gives me a head ache Mahatma...lol
Especially when you're giving the explosions and I'm screaming....lol
I prefer the thrill and excitement of the hunt. Plus, I still get a rush chasing someone down.
Slow? Possibly for some but I want to play the whole map and I like the imagination needed in trying
to out think my opponent for 7 to 10 minute.
A one minute Fractal/Stalwart map is missing something....namely me.

Yes, he's getting good with time (as we all do) but he really doesn't like losing. lol.
Yesterday, I played with evolution (ancient kuyr and many more names Mah must know) but the poor guy wasn't in a good day and I was. And ancient Cruxan was there too and in a good shape !!! evolution didn't stay more than two hard losses ! (of course without any "bye bye")
But it is pleasant challenging him !... He uses to find good hidden spots (as HappyFnCamper loved to find too)
He practices a lot even alone. I can see him playing without anybody else when I have an eye on UTcheck.
... good player anyway !

MEAT. I LOVE the avatar.

We can all help evolution get understand the importance of saying GG after a match. Actually, I would let him win a few to see if he says it then. If so, then kill him with kindness, telling him how much he has improved his game. See if that works.
If not, then nuke him till he glows in the daylight!

That might be a good idea Jarg. It will boost his convenience, build companionship and restore his social well being.
Then maybe then his heart will open and we'll see a "gg" or maybe even a smile through our monitors.
Or on the other hand, he'll turn even colder and more negative as his ego swells.
He'll become more talkative and cynical but in a unfavorable sarcastic way.
He will even deny this humane jester on our part of letting him win and he'll regress back even further.
What to do????

I say lets keep blowing his azz up....lol

I'm back !!!
Actually I never left but I did change my name and skin the last couple times I played.
And to my surprise....everyone stayed !!!
Well, one guy did call me a name but it stayed and yes he did lose.
So, the next time you're losing to a newbie....wonder if.....?

The famous name change trick. I use it often actually. I like to log in as Mahatma, Death Inc., Kind@Bud, Lara Croft and a whole slew of other names that I just think up out of the blue like that. I tend to play much better whenever I use another name too. My problem is my ping is still a dead give away. Hard to fake it with a ping of 7.

Of course, no one could ignore who you are !!! (Except with DI's ping which is already very low !!!)
