I've noticed that the 3-4 redeemer servers often discussed seem to be referred to almost as a ladder.
"Shake hands with the bots before killing them"
"Just right"
"My bots are mean"
"They will rape you before they kill you"
Which ones which?
The last time I played a redeemer fight it was against [WOH]Rosco, an admin on the UT2004 RPG INV server I used to play on, and he utterly PULVERISED me...
But the redeemer fight was also damn good fun, I'm planning on trying it again and I would like to avoid the servers with superbots.

Just get in there and launch away, Biomech!
Sure, each server has its own "flavor" but you'll never get the hang of them without getting blown up a few times.
If you have the patience to fall off of Bunny Track courses 50 TIMES in order to unlock weapons, you'll have no problem finishing a redeemer match with a negative score!
Oh, and another tip: use your transloc a LOT but avoid throwing it into another player's shock/blast. Gets me every time.

I used to play Redeemer years ago - Left for mainly Regular UT - then came back!
I'd say they go like this ...

"My bots are mean" = {MRS}
"They will rape you before they kill you" = {RVH} (No lie)

Yes, RVH has the meanest set of bots I have ever encountered. Mine on CG are certainly the sweetest. Originally there were too many players for a bot to ever be in the match. I just have them so players will have something to do while waiting for others to join.

I go there as a break from MonsterHunt, I'm an entirely casual player.
You can only have skill at so many things at once, for example if you focus on being a crack sniper and advanced dodger than you can't also maintain focus on the many aspects of Redeemer Paradise.
This is my problem, I can never be anything more than a casual redeemer player as all my "talent slots" are dedicated to making monsters fear the sound of the Moo as much as MRS players do.
Klown can establish the Moo=Death link in players minds, I'll handle the monsters
