SUP guys
Just wanted to say hi, I have been playing with you guys on CG and I have been meaning to get on the board. On UT/CG I go by 2 names. If I am playing from home(afternoon or night) it is "racenut". If I am at work(daytime) it is "buthead". I have alot of fun playing with you guys. During the day, at work I play at my breaks and lunch. So sometimes I can't stay n play to long. And my work and home computers are not the fastest. But I do it for fun!!!!! And I love the big maps. On the small maps, peps just shoot at the respon area's. Not fun to respon and DIE. Mybe we need to give the responers a few sec of invincibility. That would change the way peps that spary and pray, play the game.
THANKS

Hey mate ! Thanks stopping by in this forum !!!
I just wanted to say that, when you'll be more skilly on CG then you'll understand that the "reaspawn and die" (we call this "hte loop") is fully part of the fun of that mod ! Of course we hate when it's our turn to be "eaten" by the loop but this is really full part of that game !
Much better than a respawn protect time (which can be nice in sniping) is... practicing a lot !... We all started the way we could and now some of the guys you see on line are skilly enough to have no problems even the loop gets them for a while !...
But remember : nothing is stronger than THE LOOP !!!!!
Enjoy and come back soon to CG !

Welcome aboard there buthead, as I know you.
I feel your pain on the smaller maps but if you stick around long enough
you'll notice that there are a number of larger maps as well.
But if you're interested in HUGE maps try my server "MEAT's Redeemer Server".
And you'll also find a few big maps at "Kidcapri's Redeemer Funhouse".
And finally someone else that agrees with me on the Spray and Pray!!
Yeah buthead I really don't see the fun, challenge or skill in holding your finger down
and shooting in all different directions in hopes of a kill.
Or as some would say and do "shooting in strategic locations" (spawn kills).
Some say there is a skill to it and I'll agree with them if it's done right.
And true you might win more games that way...only if you play smaller maps.
Especially maps we play way to much of.....(favorites as I tried to explain in a earlier post).
Venture out to a new map and it's a different story. You get out of your comfort zone.
Until one learns the spawn points "strategic locations" and then it becomes a favorite...lol
I know I know....beating a dead horse....blah blah blah...
Send all death threats to..... or better yet belly up and let's play a different map?

Welcome
I'm glad to have you show up sir. Welcome to the boards finally. You sounded much like MEAT when he first got here. He too hates the little maps but is actually a minority though I too prefer the larger maps. You'll get over some day. I have to run an assortment and invite anyone who feels that strongly about it to run their own server. MEAT took me up on that offer and runs a pretty good server just the way he likes it as does Kidcapri as mentioned above.
Welcome. Post often and have strong opinions! Thanks!

Welcome to the forums. I don't get a chance to play much now, but I still hop in every once in a while. Since you seem to enjoy racing, can you tell us what types of racing you like and who are your drivers?
I live in North Carolina, so NASCAR is king here.
Ahh, another addict is made.During the day, at work I play at my breaks and lunch.

I'm working on it but it's a little confusing on which "portal plate" goes to where?
Plus what's up with getting the invisibility?
You fall through like a trap door or something and end up where you started...that is if you stand there for a sec.
Not sure if you'd call it a "portal plate"......but there's got to be a name for it?
Good map though...not to big not to small...I guess that woud be called a medium size...lol
