I can't see any reason to pm the others, there's no way they can miss it as soon as they reach the forums.

It's speed is amazing, it's only been around for a few minutes and it has almost every forum...

It's gone now. I'm already looking forward to the next version of this forum software. These spammer got into this program pretty fast in this version. I already have 2 tools in use here to prevent this stuff. The first one blocks about 95% of spam and the 2nd one blocks another 4% so there is only about 1% that are actually able to post so far. I can live with that for now.

Matrix had warned me about it and I had forgotten to get it off yesterday. Sorry it took so long for me to get to it today. Erasing it is easy for me basically yet not as easy as it was on the last version of this forum but at least here I don't have to do it nearly as often.

BTW, A really good Spam*Bot would hit every sub-forum of this forum and post multiple different threads. Luckily, we (I), have never been hit by a good/bad one yet. It will happen soon enough and as fast as they post them and I detect them and I take action, and they will be gone. See any spammers here right now? Exactly! See what I mean?

A lot of these are NOT "bots"!!!
I have had some nasty e-mail conversations with some of them!
They get MONEY for registering and posting, etc.
These are those "jobs" you see that say "Work From Home on YOUR Computer!"
This is what MANY of those jobs are - YOU become a SPAM "BOT" for hire!
