I need an admin

Hopfully, someone reads this within the next few minutes....

There is this guy who's been on all day today on various monsterhunt servers. He's on yours right now blocking portals and the kick-vote is disabled.

His name is Mystery and he got on at 7:10 P.M. Central time.

There are two Mystery guys in tehre. Somehow, this guy can copy other peoples name without the game switching it to Player or something. So, I hope you guys can distiguish between the two with the time (mabye you have player logs?)

Anyway, can you guys ban him or something. He's whole idea of fun is to get on servers and cause this kind of trouble!

I've asked about him at the Excalibur II forum. We shall know by tomorrow afternoon CDT, if he is a known trouble maker over there.

I was out of town all weekend. I just got this at 10:00 central time sorry I missed him. I'n not going to worry too much for and you did the right thing to mention it as Nameless is an Admin for one and so are several others that can kick or ban if they need to. Maybe we'll catch the guy next time.

Should I enebake kick again on this server? It has been off a long time with zero issues. I seem to have more trouble when it's on.

Thats a tough question... I'd have to say that I've seen it abused more than I've seen it used to actually help (kick-vote that is).

I guess its how you want to weigh the benefits... If the one time that it comes in handy being enabled is worth the times that its abused. That's an Admin call!

All I know is that guy was on Indy's Monster hunt and MHM crouching in portals. We would all leave and go to another monster hunt server and he'd follow. It just got the point where I didn't play for a few hours. Then he showed up again.

I'm more curious to find out how he is coping people's names without UT changing it. Like if your name is Herm and I put my name to Herm, when I come in, it will change to Player... right? His wan't! There would be two Herms!

On Indy's MH, we were getting confused on who to kick! Man, what a headache!

Is there anyone else who plays on MHM alot that has admin? Someone I can catch in real time so that they can see this stuff first hand?

HMM i'm guessing i must of been the only one that lost the admin privs when you said you had cancelled them all then wonder what i did wrong !!

That is right. I forgot about that. I just replied to Nameless who asked if he was still one too. I remember now. I pulled changed the passwords because people were saying that an admin was playing as a God or something like that. Say the word peeps and I'll resend the instruction set with valid passwords to anyone who was an admin before and wants to be again.

Just asking casue I play there alot and would never abuse it!

I like to let the other Admins decide usually. I prefer to have a person who really never loses their head and knows real right from real wrong and all the while thinks I'm the greatest person ever! LOL.

Anyways, I've had basically perfect luck through the years with my admins on the servers. Thay have all been flawless in their decision making process. That said, if even one says they think you are admin material, I'll send you the "package" that will make you an admin on both of my servers.

Fair deal?

Totally fair! I just ask they stop by sometime on MHM to get to know me... I'm there a few hours every day!

I think the only person I've seen is Nameless and that was a while back! And Blonde hottie... but that was almost a year and half ago... man time flies!

Cool for a second there it just looked like it had been me dropped and seeing how you dropped them all for a reported problem and i never got word back about the admins it looked like you might of thought it was me.
