As far as gaming forums go, this is a nice, mello place. I like it, because I don't run into people (seemingly) intentionally being vicious. The servers match the forums. MH is great coop. 'Cept... just the other day, I was on a random server and this 12 yr old started throwing rockets at me every five seconds. I asked him what his problem was, and he finally answered the third time with; "You shoot me, I shoot you". Does this seem moronic? I mean, in the thick of things, people run in front of others often. Friendly fire is a fact in fps/coop. I didn't even notice he was hitting me on purpose til there was no monsters left and he kept doin it. This guy kept shooting me every time he saw me. Finally, I went after him, exclusively, instead of the monsters. Kinda ruined the game for me. What's the point?

Anywhoo, just wanted to compliment this place, rant a little, and justify the smiley I want to put towards this thread.

If you are being harassed during a game, try to find out if the guy is an American.
If he is, just say something like: "Obama's health care reforms don't go far enough."

If he agrees, do a 180 and start talking about how important it is to have choice.

If he disagrees, start talking about the millions who are being left behind.

Going by how touchy they all are down that way about this whole subject, you should have the guy foaming at the mouth and ready to make a visit to the ER in no time.

If he isn't an American, just point out that he was an asshat to step into your line of fire in the first place.

Or you can just report the problem here, giving the player's name and the date and time of the harassment, and Herm will discipline the offender.

In my experience the best way to handle annoying people is to bring out the lawyer personality where I build my plan around a good explanation of what I'm trying to do, then turn my opponents arguments against them to weaken them for a vicious salvo of simple logic.

This works great for everyone under the age of 30
