Where is everybody?

Speaking of the memberlist....146 strong....kind of.
Why is there so many members but they never say anything?
Where are they and why join if you're not going to participate in this little forum?
Are they real?

Actually as you pointed out to me a while back, several of them are not real. I still need to clean them out. The real ones come and go. It doesn't matter. It isn't like I'mmaking or losing money running this. More posters are preferred but you'll do just fine MEAT.

some join the forums to read i do but some forums can only be seen if you join so i just got in practice of joining i rarely say anthing unless i have something to say by the way thanks to you hermskii and meat for givings us a place to play

You seem to be getting all the newbies and they all bypass my server.
And yes I'll be nice and I promise not to kill all of them when they arrive...lol

I've noticed an abundance of new players at CG and MEAT'S.
And it's great to see UT99 and the Redeemer is striving and going strong.
However, with all these new players you'd think this forum would be more active?
I know Hermskii makes note of it on his server and so do I. But where are they?
I miss arguing, I mean discussing stuff.

I've gotten back on DSL and looked around a few times this weekend on CG's and Meat's. lots of folks on there at different times! Also if you haven't tried out Slayed's sniper server (2k4) ,it's a

friggin blast !!

and it was nice to get on herm's with a ping of around 66-80 lol instead of " your connection stinks, please leave or the Admin. will be forced to kill you". hehehe

I'm very glad to hear you were just kidding since I really meant to turn it off a long time ago and thought I did. I go back to work tomorrow for the first time in a month and a half. Lounging around got boring anyways. I hope you mop up with people now that you have the good connection. Enjoy it. Know that it will be differnt now and your timing will be way off at first. You'll find you die much easier too now that all damage packets actually will register where with slower connections many didn't before so you often survived explosions that normally should have killed you.

I think Nameless Entity had a theory about this a long time back. Turns out he was right. Sometimes slow connection players have an advantage but it works both ways so I don't know how much of an advantage it would be. Later. Glad you are running fast again. Can you talk Deadman Walking into a fast connection now?
