I was playing on MHMIII and was dying because I did not know what hit me. Talk about spray and pray.. I just wanted to have a relaxing time and play some UT..

Herm, thank you but my issue is with my service provider.. It is cable internet and has been good in years past, but I think there is more demand on the service and they do not upgrade so the users get the short end of the stick. When everybody is at work or at school in my community, I get good ping, but when school is out or when people get home, the ping just sky rockets..Hermskii wrote:I know it is a vent thread but we'd still love to help you but you need to give us some more info. Was your ping crap on any other servers for instance? If so, which ones?
Have you all got RID of your Credit Cards yet???Hook wrote:Get rid of your Credit Cards!!!
They have always sucked for the most part and Now Days, even More!
They have fees for everything now.
Non-use fees.
Under-use fees.
Annual fees.
Late fees.
Fee Fees!
And many more!!!![]()
A credit card we used to have was commandeered by someone once.
The perps had called the credit card company and made a change to the billing address to an address in Texas (I live in Minnesota) so that we wouldn't receive the bill any more and we wouldn't see what was going on.
After not receiving a bill for awhile we called the credit card company to see what was going on.
The credit card company, Capital One, the "What's in Your Wallet" company, argued with us that we had changed it and gave us guff.
The perps also had changed it again to somewhere in Virginia also before they were foiled.
We finally got it changed back to our address after much trouble.
Also, we found out that someone else made about $7000.00+ worth of purchases on it.
We went right to the police and also all the places you go when something like this happens.
The police and other agencies said that all they need is a copy of your statement that they probably took from the mail stream somewhere and with that info it is very easy to take over someone's account.
The FBI of course also became involved.
We ended up freezing the account right away of course and we were not liable for any of the purchases made by the perps.
The Police Detectives and the FBI agent involved all said that they would Never have a credit card, Never - and that none of them do have one either.
We paid off what we had on a couple of them and with much trouble, got rid of them entirely.
The trouble is, credit card companies fight you tooth and nail to prevent you from canceling a card.
They keep adding fees onto your account when you (try to) pay them off.
We finally got the Attorney General involved and Finally severed ourselves from the cards totally!
We went through he same ordeal trying to cancel our son's credit card!!!
I also had an AARP credit card that I thought was OK, and it was better than others, but it too started to screw us so Out it went, with only a little less trouble than the Cap. One cards gave us.![]()
Wouldn't you think that AARP would endorse a good company? Not always so!![]()
Anyway, we Have been Totally Clean of any Filthy Credit Cards and their Corrupted companies for about a year now and have never Felt Better than we do now about it!!!
We save money for purchases or do without until we can afford them.
We keep enough money in a savings account to handle most emergencies.
Hey, just like the good old days!!!![]()
DOWN with Credit Card Companies AND their idiotic blood-sucking cards!!!![]()
Let's PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!
Back to FREEDOM!!!![]()
It is SUCH a GREAT Feeling!!!
Oh, I think I "got" it - the ORDER in which the directions said to set up the UPS.Hermskii wrote:Funny you say that. I have a work story to vent about in regards to a usb to capture device. It had the worst directions ever.
Hook, I'm shocked you didn't actually get what I was upset about. I thought it was pretty clear. Hmmmm?
