I'm The Doppleganger. A simple man of goofy bearing who is hopelessly addicted to the original Unreal Tournament. I've played every version, except UT3, and while fun...there's no comparison.

For the last decade or so I've largely been playing against bots. Occasionally LAN games when my other computer was still working and had a monitor, head to head. Even mroe rare if someone has a laptop and came over and networked in, 3 random fools and my bots tearing it up.

You might think it's easy to get bored of bots after awhile but I've managed to keep things...interesting:

I'm still having issues. Not a clue how to get on the master server list so any advice you have, I'll take.

I'm decent at editing skins, considering all I use is ThumbsPlus for tint and color enhancement and use MSpbrush, the lamest paint program Microsoft ever invented. That skin in the middle is from a bunch called Chris's Comic Skins: Green Lantern, Captain America, Superman, Iron Man, Batman. None of them with team colors...so I gave them some. That and used the idividual skins for team colors for a different one called the Dark Hero:

Yeah, you don't need Photo Shop etc., to do good work - Obviously by looking at your work.

For the record, EvilGrins and I got to work on his not being able to see his server on the master server. Long story short is this. He can run a server except he doesn't manage the router he connects through and the person who does won't let him even though I had logged into it and could have set the port forwarding. Instead, we notified the manager of the router and he locked it down because many of his family use it.

IF you ever get time, could you show me how to skin evilgrin, I have the concept just don't understand the texture mapping.

I can tell you how I skin but I'm not 100% sure it would help you as I kinda learned from scratch. The UnrealEd is a handy utility that comes with the game but it has no instruction manual that I've been able to find...

...or I'm just monumentally dumb on this point and just haven't found one.
