Just got banned from Fuzz Ball's monsterhunt server

I'm a little fuzzy what's going on with this. Shortly I got into the game I discovered that friendly fire was cranked all the way up, most notably because this guy named Inhuman kept shooting me and taking off my health. After the bunch of us elimated a boss, a lot of them proceeded on and a few stayed behind to shoot at each other.

Admittedly, it was mostly Inhuman that was shooting around and folks were shooting back.

I got the drop on Inhuman, tearing into him with the minigun...when I was booted out of the game and a server message informed me I got banned.

It's not unusal for me to get shot in Monsterhunt games. I play as a Skaarj Trooper so it usually takes a beat for folks to figure out I'm not with the monsters on the map. Still, on a place where friendly fire is set to allow players to kill each other and players are shooting the crap out of each other...

...well, i hope Inhuman got booted to.

Out of curiosity I popped back into the server. Never been banned from one before, wanted to see what would happen. Turns out, I got into the game just fine but all the players were gone except for one.

Inhuman.

I think Inhuman was the one who banned you grins, I would drop Fuzz ball a PM and tell him what happened. IF an admin is going to ban players for shooting eachother then they need to turn off friendly fire, doesn't make much sense. Did you swear or provoke anythign with any other players? Fuzz can just check the logs.

I think he got banned from this forum Evil, don't quote me though-Herm or Hook will let you know for sure. I think fuzz is still active at HUTP or at least a memeber.

He was not banned. He requested to be deactivated is what happened to the best of recollection. Then he requested back on then off again or just said he wasn't coming back ever and never did. I think that is how it all happened. Check the banned user link. I started tracking everything there so I would not be confused in the future about these things as I am now. The details should be there.

I dont see or cant find any postings about him getting banned or requesting to be deactivated. In fact hes not on Herms member list.

However, he is active as of Aug 4th over on Hooks Forum so I would try to contact him there.

I knew Fuzz had Friendlyfire on for his server but didnt realize it was full force FF. I thought he had it low like 2% so that careless wild shooting will hurt your team and slow the hunt.

Also, too many admins on a server will cause problems like this. I hope you get it resolved. Fuzz runs a tight monsterhunt server.

I normally like to stay out of things, but I do have some things to say on this topic and some of the topics that this raised.

First of all, about the banning or kicked from the server. Moderators or Admin present during the game could have kicked you for a match or two, I think the default is 3 matches. Being kicked multiple times could get you banned for days or longer, based on the incidents and history you have there. Fuzz_Ball clearly notifies people on his server that he does not want players shooting other players. It is a rule that he has advertised there. It sounds that you might have been kicked from the server for a match or two.

Second, concerning Fuzz_Ball and Hermskii. I have not read anything within the walls of HOH that would show bad blood between the two. I respect both and I know there have been times where Hermskii even mentions how he enjoys playing on Fuzz_Balls server and it is on his favorites. It was a mystery to me why Fuzz_Ball was no longer a member here (when I discovered this a while back), but I do know some people need to move on. I enjoy Fuzz_Ball, he is a great guy and a fellow Arizonian. He has treated me well on his server and I am appreciative.

Third, as POTS stated, contacting him through email or at his forum, would be good.

Fuzz is MIA on Hermskii.... Hes active on Hooks .... Were trying to get this guy hooked up with Fuzz.

But yeah, if Fuzz has his own forum and direct email available, by all means that the most direct way to contact him.

I must have had Killer Klownz and Fuzz_Ball confused. Killer Klownz was deactivated for breaking the rules then he followed the rules and was reactivated then several days later requested to be deactivated again. I've seen many posts by Killer Klownz on other servers and he's seems to try to avoid all of this old ill-will discussion all of the time.

Fuzz_Ball's last post was December 19, 2010 and it said the following:

I don't think he ever posted again. I waited several days or maybe even weeks after that and then I absorbed his forum into one of the remaining forums in order to have a record of the posts. I guess I later decided to be offended at being called a mamby-pamby Jag-offs and deactivated his account entirely. Maybe he emailed me and requested it. I could not find any details about what happened exactly. I do recall reading plenty of negative stuff about me on his (back then) new forum and that pretty much sealed the deal for me. Fuzz had chosen a side to be on after all of the fun at the end of last year.

Like I did with MEAT, I had hosted Fuzz's MonsterHunt server redirect files and gave him his own section of the forum here too. Eventually all of the bickering and all of that MEAT and GOPO and HOOK and Silent Bob and me stuff was too much and he said what he said and walked. I can't blame him but at the same time it hurt that he never defended me on his forum either that I saw. He not only didn't defend me but Fuzz supported some of the folks I won't allow around here anymore. Fuzz is a successful server admin for a very successful server just like MEAT. Congrats to them both for that.

So there you have it. I think that covers most of all of it the best I can recall. If I'm missing or forgetting something feel free to bring it to my attention. I am sorry, I was not trying to say that someone was trying to start anything. I just stated what I knew about rules on Fuzz's and my observations concerning Fuzz_Ball on HOH.

It has been a nice calm here at HOH, and it has been enjoyable and drama free.

Contacting Fuzz on his forum or email is best if there is an issue or question about his server.

No worries here David. You are right though. If someone has a problem of Fuzz's server, they should take it straight to the man himself on his forum. That is what these forums are for. They are for feedback among other things.

Fuzz is of sound mind. He is considered a great admin for his server and his forum. He'll tell you what the deal is if you have an issue and ask him about it I'm sure.
