In the picture above, my daughter and family are on that point directly north of Virginia Beach.
Cape May on an island.
At this point, they are still there.

Yes, they finally got home to Minneapolis MN at about 12 midnight last night.
My wife and I picked them up at the airport after an all day affair from 9 Sat morning until 1 am Sun..
My daughter did some brilliant finagling with the airline and got the few last seats on a flight out to NC, then home from there.
That's my daughter!

Right where they were by Cape May NJ, the weather channel had a reporter showing how bad it was there just before it hit really bad there and after my daughter and family got out of there off that island.
So WHEW - all ended good for them and us!

Mostly the BIG Weight was lifted off of us when we found out they were flying out of it to NC.
We just kept imagining our new little grand daughter being swept away in the tide or surge.
I now call her "Hurricane Brynn"

Ironically, my mother's name is Irene.
