I realize there's an existing YouTube thread but I think this deserved one all to itself:
1) Holy Hippo Spit! (as I can't swear in this forum)
2) There's a lotta debate but I'm about 98% sure the bad guy is Khan.

Re: Star Trek: Into Darkness
Nope. There was a guy that got these crazy white eyes and could read crazy fast and could make rope choke out engineers on the enterprise while he was on the planet. He had a girlfriend with nearly equal powers until Kirk shot a big rock and it fell in on him while he stood in a grave he had made for Kirk.
Everyone keeps saying that when they made the last movie they made it clear it was an alternate universe thus the story line doesn't have to stay true to the series as the first movie was way off the original story line. Can anyone tell me where they made this so clear?
All through the last flick I was going No. Nooo. NOOOO. What the hell no. What is this???

Gary Mitchell and it's not him.Hermskii wrote:Nope. There was a guy that got these crazy white eyes and could read crazy fast and could make rope choke out engineers on the enterprise while he was on the planet. He had a girlfriend with nearly equal powers/
The new blonde in the movie has been since identified as Carol Marcus, which if you've seen Star Trek: The Warth of Khan you know is the creator of the Genesis device.
The bad guy in this has been identified as John Harrison. Doesn't sound familiar? Not just to you. The name is wholly original to the Star Trek franchise, but given the superhuman moves we see him make in the trailer, I'm still leaning towards him having something to do with Khan.

A Wrath of Khan remake is fine with me but they need to get another series on the TV and NOW! Sorry I doubted you.
