Before and Later

Well, I got my girls new digital cameras. Before getting them their own camera they were using my old digital camera that I used for work for many years before I got a new one years ago. This camera is an Olympus D-340R.

I was cleaning out my file cabinet, gathering the paperwork for the Olympus and I was looking at the receipt. I was sort of in shock and laughing at the same time. Why you might ask... well for the reasons below.
*Olympus D-340R cost me $238 in 2000

*Flashpath Adapter needed at the time to download pictures from the smart card cast me $89.99 in 2000

*For both they cost me $327.99 and TODAY I can't give them away.

I looked on eBay and the camera itself does not sell at $20.00. So sad. I guess I can give it 2nd hand store.

David I'd buy it from you at that price if you are just going to trash it. I could turn it into a trail camera. Most of the ones made then were tougher construction and had good low-light optics as the software wasn't really advanced yet.
