I get that he's there to cover me, watch my back...

...but something about him is decidedly not comforting.

I've done that!

Given the angle, and where the Abyss is looking, makes me wonder what specifically on me she's complimenting...

Work on the Batzarro skin is almost done, just gotta finish the belt... which is oddly where I finish up on most skins I do.

1 annoying little quirk when playing with a UTDMT in a CTF game is when the 1 on your team picks up your lost flag:
Image

The bots don't know how to react as the UTDMT isn't inclined to return the flag, and often they freeze up and get weird:

To date, the only way I've found around this problem is to let the other team kill the UTDMT and then get the flag before they do.

DOM seems to get played the least, and people rarely make maps for it...

...yet it remains one of my favorites.

In a previous chat somewhere on this forum, that I suspect is no longer there since it moved, I asked Hermskii if he'd ever played DM-GhostShip. We were discussing the Whirlwind mutator and how it was made by th same person who made the Pinata mutator, a rare case of 2 mutatord that were specifically designed to interact with each other.

DM-ghostShip has a "ghost" on it that does what those 2 other mutators do together:

Basically the ghost, that blue thing carrying that poor bot off, grabs players/bots, flings them around, and causes them to drop all of their weapons. It's not a separate mutator, the thing is embedded directly into the map.

Yep and it was totally awesome!!! In the map I have it is in; it picks you up and throws you right through a power particle beam which as you can imagine hurts to the point of death every time! Great mod! LOL. So funny back in the day and did I mention....awesome!

I may've mentioned a stretch back I picked up a cyberbully in 2011 who's been giving me Hell the last several years. Well, he goes quiet every few months and I almost thought I was rid of him when he popped back up to reveal to me he'd spent his time away writing a fantasy where he tracked down and killed several people who he's tried bullying but wouldn't cave into him.

Yes, I was in there too.

Now, I admit it would be highly immature to respond to such a thing. I freely admit that, but I did make the nitwit skin as a kind of therapy to deal with when he got on my nerves... except, since I know this guy stalks all my online content he's aware of, I may have posted to my UT community on livejournal the following...

He shut up again not too very long after this.

Maybe it was something I "said"?

Ah yes, I remember this map well. I remember the fun of trying to explore it with Scify while we tried hard not to get killed by the bots. The ghost was quite a surprise. Crazy fun! :D

Is it still loaded into the map rotation at CG?
I'm a man........but I can change........if I have to........I guess
