It just dawned on me that somebody should write a rule book of sorts about how to make certain types of maps. I thought of this because I have always felt a really good Monster Hunt map was a hard thing to make if you actually follow the rules. One of the main rules I see people screw the pooch on is they don't ever set a new respawn point once the player has made it some certain portion through the map. If you have cleared more than half the map on something like a giant hallway type map, when you die, you should start to respawn at the halfway point of the map. Not all the way back at the beginning. Just saying.

Death Match maps should never make respawn points in an area where you can get shot in the head the second you respawn. Stuff like that.
