What's your favorite map to relieve stress on?

Post by EvilGrins » Sun May 19, 2024 4:38 pm

Most of us play online on various servers, but for those times you play on your own in a practice match, when you don't want to deal with other actual people... what is your usual map of choice?

For me it's any of my UTDM edits of CTF-Eagles, always playing on the Red Team.

Overall, Deck 16 for sure. Especially some of the variants that Schwantz used to run.

If CTF Eagles is the map I think it is, I used to enjoy that one too. It was the first map I ever played on with the Strangelove rocket planes you could ride. Mahatma had to tell me how to use the after burners. Wow! What a ride!
Bailing out so that you landed at the entrance to the flag room and didn't die was a hoot too.

Might be a bit harder with the Warlords...

Maybe so.

But why is the flag out on the open ground? In the original CTF map the flags are in a room at the back of the map next to the spot where you can board the cable cars.

The map has 2 not at all symmetrical bases, blue base is up high built into a mountain.

Red base is well fortified and more open but that doesn't make it easier to get the flag away from there. Red base is easier to defend.

I've never seen a version like what you describe.
