Let's document several good step-by-step UT installs

As new operating systems and new computer hardware come out every year, UT gets harder and harder to install and run successfully. I feel like we owe it to ourselves and all the other UT players to document some installs to ensure we can all keep playing. I'd like to use this post as a go-to place for most east install solutions to be provided.

I'd like to name which recent OS the game is trying to be played on. Then which patch and basic add-ons will help the player's install work.

Example:

Windows XP
Install UT 4.00
Install UT patches 1,3 and 4. (Do not install UT patch 2.)
Install the most recent UT video driver for your specific video card
Change the UT connection links to this or that to ensure you can play online.
Install the most recent UT patch that works with this OS.

Rinse and repeat for Windows 10 and then Windows 11. So just basic info like that. What do you think?
