So i am doing some online banking on my banks website. A huge major national bank in America for those of you who don't live here.
And i am visiting the bank website and i notice that the password field to log in is missing. Through some investigation i stumble on the fact that the script running the password field to the banks website is from a completely separate website.
So basically my password and possibly my user name also are being handled by some third party. This disturbs me greatly.
You ask witch bank i use? A MAJOR ONE.

just make sure that you TYPE in the bank's website address when you log on!
It could be another secure site that handles it but you should ask the bank!

A major bank could be a major pain in the butt! But aside from that, beware of fake sites too that could imitate legit sites. That also includes getting emails that may look fine, but are fake (I saw some that had a few minor flaws if not checked carefully in the junk/spam folder). Even getting to a bad site could infect your computer!
So make sure you scan your computer often & try not to keep any important info in your system.

Whatever it is it's affiliated with the bank.
It is there when i type in the banks website address. And it is only password that it handles , not user name.

Regardless , it startled me. I have been opening my eyes to allot of things lately.
