Say it isn't so....MEAT got Beat...?

Well actually I didn't get beat but it was close.
And it was an old school player that almost did it.
Some guy name Ichthys?
Need to watch out for this guy...he's getting better.

I don't play everyday but I know that a lot of people do.
And they have been playing for years...but no one is getting better.
Why is that?

Ichthys has been in the tournament since before the beta test of UT.

Hmm maybe cause only Bots play now !! :P :lol: I'm way over and out on redeemer and don't even play anymore, over and out , however if you really need a beatdown in zark, go get 2k4 and come to IK 's ABG server , a knight named Chef waits there ....here kitty kitty :lol:

honestly. I never got great at deemer, it was all a great big blast and it was all about the folks that played, i.e, the community and personalities at SRA and Cg's that made it what it was, it's no longer the same, so I lost interest in it and can't see coming back to it. I do however love a good game of MH !! that kinda brings back the fun and what made playing here fun.

Actually I get a lot of players on my server.....they just leave when I come in.
Hence the sarcastic remark I made about bots/Ichthy.
Last night 7 people were on...I came in and 5 people left before the game ended.
Today I joined a game in progress.....10 points down to start....with 6 people playing.
At the end, after I won, only one real person remained.

As for people getting better....well with bigger maps you have less "Spraying & Praying".
Back in the day personalities out weighted skill and technique because everyone Sprayed.
Hence: "great big blast".
Now of days you need patience and a plan of action to play my server.
No one wants to adjust or evolve....correct that... Killer_Klownz has evolved, Silent Bob is up there to.

As for it no longer being the same...you're right...it got better.

But I agree with one thing you said, MH is fun...but it's not the same as going against real players.

ack MEAT i hear all of these stories bout you running everybody off your server, but ive never seen it for myself, i gotta stop playing late at night i guess though.

while your seeing the dr. for your cough MEAT...maybe you should ask him about selective memory loss.... or maybe your just gettin old?
if memory serves me well (which it always does), i have beaten you on ...cough....THREE...cough occasions. i think i even have a screenshot floating around too.. but, beating you isnt my number one goal and never has been.. telefragging you is. You know your gunna get the biggest heckling of your life right here on this forum...when/if it ever happens. :P Ive been so damn close...
